Support/Provide the MK19 40mm MOD 3 Grenade Machine Gun (MMG), MK19 40mm MOD 4 GMG, Spare Parts Kit, Barrel Assembly, Special Tool/Gauges and Contractor Operator/Maintainer Training

The Army Contracting Command is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the production of the MK19 40mm MOD 3 and MOD 4 Grenade Machine Gun (GMG), spare parts kits, barrel assemblies, and special tools/gauges. The contractor will also be required to provide operator and maintainer training. The production requirements include fabrication, in-process inspection, First Article Testing, and ongoing Lot Acceptance Tests. The contractor must also provide a quality assurance plan, including certification or compliance to ISO 9001:2008 (or equivalent). Some key points to consider are: * The production of the MK19 40mm MOD 3 and MOD 4 GMG requires cold rotary swaging or cold rotary forging for barrel manufacturing. * The contractor must have the capability to produce 75-130 units per month, with the potential to increase to 175 units per month. * The contractor must provide a description of their production capability and quality assurance plan. * The contractor must provide pricing data and any relevant pricing information. * The contractor must have the capability to provide operator and maintainer training for Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
