Street Construction Various Items (LUMBER, STEEL, TOOLS, REBAR WIRE & MESH) - Public Works

The City of Laredo is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of Street Construction Various Items, including lumber, steel, tools, rebar wire, and mesh, for the Public Works and various City Departments. The City encourages electronic bid submissions through Cit-E-Bid, but hand-delivered bids will also be accepted. The bid submission deadline is November 17, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. CT, and all bids received will be opened and publicly acknowledged on November 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. CT. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor irregularities. • The bid includes various street construction items such as lumber, steel, tools, rebar wire, and mesh. • The City of Laredo has established a local vendor preference ordinance, which gives a 5% preference to local vendors. • Bids can be submitted electronically through Cit-E-Bid or hand-delivered to the City Secretary's Office. • The City is not responsible for any delays caused by the check-in process for hand-delivered bids. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor irregularities.
