N--Notice of Intent to Sole Source:

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing a notice of intent to sole source a contract for custom-built control panels. The panels are designed to integrate with over 350 multi-brand sensors that detect various hazardous leaks, refrigerants, temperature, humidity, and room pressure. The panels will be used in a laboratory setting to provide immediate access in case of an alarm. The contractor will be responsible for developing and maintaining the custom-built control panels. • The panels must be able to connect to a server to present information on centralized computers. • The panels must be able to pinpoint the location of the sensor that detected the hazard, the concentration level of the hazard, and if sensors need maintenance. • The panels must be able to show which sensor may be damaged if maintenance is required.
