The City of Santa Fe is seeking a contractor for the Calle Mejia Sanitary Sewer Pipe Bursting Rehab Project. The project involves replacing approximately 19,500 feet of ten-inch clay sewer line with a 12-inch High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe using pipe bursting methods. The project is an emergency procurement due to the poor condition of the existing pipe, which poses a public health risk. The contractor will be responsible for providing all mobilization, equipment, labor, and materials for the rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer lines. • The project includes Closed Circuit Television Video (CCTV) inspection, washing of the existing sanitary sewer line, and insertion of a new 12-inch HDPE pipe utilizing pipe bursting methods. • The contractor must have experience with pipe bursting construction methods and must be able to complete the project within the specified timeframe. • The city is seeking a contractor who can provide high-quality work and ensure the safety of the public and the environment. • The project is expected to be completed within a two-year period from the date of approval. • The city is willing to pay up to $3,132,472.42 for the completion of the project, excluding gross receipts tax.
