Wood Poles

The City of Nixa is seeking competitive bids for the procurement and delivery of wood poles of various lengths and classes to be used for municipal projects. Bidders must submit electronic bids through the city’s online system; emailed bids are not accepted. The bid will be awarded to the lowest‑cost vendor that meets the specifications, though the city reserves the right to award by line item or other criteria. Quantities are estimated (10 of 30‑ft Class 3, 31 of 40‑ft Class 1, and 8 of 45‑ft Class 1) and may be adjusted at order time. All bidders must complete required attachments (E‑Verify, Affidavit of Business Entity) and certify compliance with anti‑collusion statements. • Bid opening will be public at City Purchasing office. • Submission deadline: 9/17/2026 10:00 AM CT (electronic only). • Questions due by 9/10/2026 12:00 PM CT, directed to Stephanie Ewing. • Delivery must include freight; poles must meet Southern Yellow Pine, Penta‑treated, WQC‑inspected, RUS specifications. • Vendor must register with Payment Works if awarded.
