Description
The City of New York, through DCAS, is soliciting competitive sealed bids to supply one or more 2000 GPM fire‑apparatus (pumper) units for the FD NY. The contract is a “C” requirement contract lasting roughly five years, with a pilot‑model delivery within 60 days of award and subsequent units on a weekly cadence. The apparatus must meet detailed specifications for chassis, cab, pump module, powertrain, electrical system, communications, safety devices, graphics, and warranty. The solicitation also includes an optional high‑pressure variant and requires extensive documentation, testing, and a five‑year bumper‑to‑bumper warranty.
