Gretna Burmaster Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade

The City of Gretna is soliciting Requests For Qualifications (RFQ) from persons or firms interested and qualified to provide professional engineering services for the City of Gretna proposed Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements. The project objective is to improve the Burmaster Boulevard Wastewater Treatment Plant, which is at capacity and requires improvements to meet the needs of current and projected demand. The scope of services includes plant repairs, such as digester tank repairs, centrifuge hoist installation, SCADA system implementation, and new headworks screen and modified hydrodine screen installation. The selected firm must comply with all Standard Federal Award Contractor Terms And Conditions and complete the Certification Regarding Lobbying. • The project requires a non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting on January 22, 2026. • The submission deadline is February 5, 2026, at 10:00 am EST. • The contract(s) awarded under the solicitation are expected to be funded in whole or in part by a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. • Respondents must comply with the President’s Executive Order Numbers 11246 as amended, which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.
