Work Order Construction Contracts

The Pennsylvania Western University, Edinboro Campus, is inviting contractors to bid on work order construction contracts. The contracts will be for various services including HVAC, plumbing, excavation, concrete, masonry, and general construction. The work will be performed on the campus of Penn West University, Edinboro, PA. The contractor shall furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, and equipment and perform all work necessary to complete each project in accordance with all state, county, and local laws and regulations. The key services included in the contract are: • HVAC Services: general HVAC work, heating systems, air handling systems, heat pumps, chillers, sheet metal, and associated systems. • Plumbing Services: general plumbing, pumps, boilers, water heaters, drains, fixtures, associated systems, removal of debris, and cleanup. • Excavation Services: preparing sub-grades for slabs-on-grade, walks, and lawns/grasses, excavating and backfilling for structures, drainage course for slabs-on-grade, sub-base course for concrete walks, separation and drainage geotextiles, excavating and backfilling for water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and steam utilities. • Concrete Services: concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, roads, and parking areas. • Masonry Services: providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the completion of concrete block work, clay brick masonry, mortar, grout, and embedded flashing. • General Construction: miscellaneous general carpentry, drywall, masonry, and concrete repairs including new and/or renovations and repairs to building interiors or exteriors as well as limited site work.
