Description
The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) is seeking a vendor to design, fabricate, and deliver (or arrange pickup of) five (5) custom welded gates for the Shelby SOA site at 2119 County Road 57, Prattville, AL 36051. Each gate must be 16 ft long, constructed from 2½‑in. square tubing with ¼‑in. wall thickness, include a locking side plate, a swivel side pipe, diagonal and vertical supports, a 6‑ft locking pole with top reinforcement, and a powder‑coated yellow finish. All materials must comply with the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act, and the vendor must submit a completed BABA Certificate of Compliance with the bid. Delivery logistics depend on vendor proximity: agencies will pick up gates if the vendor is within 50 mi; otherwise the vendor must include delivery charges.
• Fabricate 5 welded metal gates to exact dimensional specifications (16 ft length, multiple tube and plate components, swivel and locking mechanisms).
• Apply a durable yellow powder‑coat finish to each gate.
• Provide BABA certification (Exhibit A/B) and retain supporting documentation for five years.
• Deliver gates to the project site or coordinate agency pickup based on vendor distance.
