Description
The project involves constructing two underground reinforced concrete vaults at the Santa Ana Pipeline Box Springs Turnout to install two department-furnished electric-actuated 108-inch butterfly valves and associated mechanical, electrical, and structural systems. The project also includes electrical upgrades, replacement of existing bypass pipes, and comprehensive testing and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and maintaining all warning signs, devices, and features necessary to protect the health and safety of the general public and workers.
• The project requires the construction of two underground vaults, each measuring 28' x 33'.
• The project includes the installation of four 108-inch butterfly valves, two per vault.
• The project requires the replacement of existing bypass pipes and associated components at North Park Vault.
• The project includes electrical upgrades, such as generator replacement and streetlight relocations.
