The U.S. Air Force is conducting market research to locate firms capable of producing and installing Line‑of‑Sight (LOS) Link‑16 kits on MC‑130J aircraft, providing full‑life‑cycle support, engineering data access, testing, and logistics. The effort is anticipated to be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five‑year base period and up to four optional years, requiring Secret clearance and prohibiting foreign participation.
