Description
The City of Salem is seeking a contractor to provide pressure tapping, line stop services, and live insertion valves on an as-needed basis. The contractor will be required to furnish all materials and labor for pressure tapping on ductile iron and cast iron potable water pipelines from 6-inch diameter through 69-inch diameter, and for line stops on potable water pipelines from 4-inch diameter through 69-inch diameter. The contract will be for a fixed price, and the contractor will be required to submit a bid for each item listed in the bid form. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to postpone the award of the contract for thirty (30) days.
