The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) is soliciting a quote for one East Penn Manufacturing high shock battery, model number 18-G75-27EE. The battery is a component of forklift trucks onboard MSC vessels and is considered a Critical Safety Item. Only the OEM, East Penn Manufacturing Co., may provide these Critical Safety Items. The Government will evaluate the offeror's price for reasonableness and past performance as part of the responsibility determination.
• The solicitation is for a firm-fixed-price supply-type purchase order.
• The deadline for submission of questions is one day prior to the solicitation closing date.
• The deadline for submission of quotes is 22 May 2026, 12:00 PM.
• The Government anticipates awarding a contract resulting from this solicitation on or about two weeks following the solicitation closing due date.
