The City of Pasadena is seeking bids for the repair and replacement of components of its storm drain system. The project includes replacing deteriorated storm drain pipes, installing cured-in-place pipe liners and missing catch basin inlet screens, repairing concrete spalls and structural cracks at catch basin facilities, and performing routine maintenance such as pipe televising, cleaning, and catch basin cleaning. The successful bidder will be required to commence work within 15 calendar days from the date of issuance of a Notice to Proceed and complete all work within 80 days after contract time commences. • The project is subject to the City's Pasadena Living Wage Ordinance, which requires contractors to pay no less than the City's living wage to all employees who spend any time providing labor or delivering services to the City. • The project is also subject to the City's Construction and Demolition Waste Management Plan, which requires contractors to divert a minimum of 75% of construction and demolition debris resulting from the work. • Bidders must provide a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid price in the form of a redeemable or callable electronic surety bond. • The City reserves the right to reject all bids, waive any irregularity in any of the bids, or cancel or delay the project at any time.
