Inlet Harbor ADA Parking Dune Walkover Beach Access

The County of Volusia is seeking a single, responsive and responsible bidder for the construction of Inlet Harbor ADA Parking Dune Walkover Beach Access. The project will replace the existing dune walkover with a new sidewalk, ADA Parking space, Timber Dune Walkover Stairs and ADA Ramp. The existing timber walkover will be demolished, the site re-graded to accept an ADA sidewalk connecting to a new concrete ADA parking space and timber dune walkover stairs and ADA ramp to access the beach. The improvements will allow for improved access for users of the beach by removing the stairway access at the street, re-grading the site to allow wheelchair access to the park and beach area by means of an ADA stairway and ramp on the east end of the site. Key aspects of the project include: • Replacement of the existing dune walkover with a new sidewalk, ADA Parking space, Timber Dune Walkover Stairs and ADA Ramp • Demolition of the existing timber walkover and re-grading of the site • Construction of a new concrete ADA parking space and timber dune walkover stairs and ADA ramp • Improved access for users of the beach, including wheelchair access to the park and beach area • Compliance with ADA regulations and standards
