Description
The Washington State Convention Center is seeking a General Contractor for the construction of a new safety hub on the Seattle Convention Center Campus. The project includes demolition, installation of new interior finishes, and full build-out of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems. The selected contractor will be responsible for coordinating with the design team and building operations staff throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
• Demolition and disposal of existing interior elements
• Installation of new interior finishes, including flooring, wall finishes, and ceilings
• Furnish and installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Installation of fire alarm and fire protection systems
• Coordination with the design team and building operators to ensure compliance with design intent and existing systems
• Provision of warranties and close-out documentation
