Light Rail Vehicle New and Used Axle Press

Valley Metro Rail is seeking technical and commercial information from manufacturers, distributors, and resellers of hydraulic axle presses (minimum 250‑ton capacity) to support future acquisition of new or used equipment for its light‑rail vehicle maintenance facility. The RFI is purely informational; no contract commitment is made. Respondents must detail product specifications, configurations (single‑acting or double‑acting), dimensions, control systems, safety features, service life, lead times, optional accessories, shipping, installation, training, warranty, and compliance with Buy‑America requirements. The agency also requests past performance references with transit agencies or railroads and information on U.S. service support.
