USCG Base Charleston Fencing

The United States Coast Guard is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to renew select perimeter fencing and gates at USCG Base Charleston. The project involves furnishing and installing 335 linear feet of new 7'H commercial-grade chain link fence with a 24' double drive gate. The contractor must also provide structural calculations for the spaces in the scope of work, although these calculations do not need to be certified and stamped by a licensed Professional Engineer. The contractor will be responsible for getting the appropriate calculations for the spaces in this scope. Some key requirements include: • Providing a detailed breakdown of estimated labor and material costs • Displaying the vendor's Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and Tax Identification Number (TIN) • Submitting a brief technical proposal that demonstrates an understanding of the Statement of Work • Including heavy-duty drop rods and 180-degree hinges for the new gate • Ensuring the latch system installed can handle the load/weight of the gate
