26-103 Morgue Trailer Repair

The St. Charles County Government is seeking bids for the repair of a Morgue Trailer. The trailer is an 18’x8’ MRS-20/20BT-SS Trailer Logic Morgue Trailer. The successful bidder will be required to remove and re-install exterior electrical boxes, interior battery boxes, and racking in the rear of the trailer. The bidder will also be required to replace the rotted subfloor, install at least 3/16” aluminum flooring or equivalent, and ensure that all seams on the interior and exterior are sealed. The bidder must also repair or replace any damaged electrical items and ensure that the water can escape the trailer without penetrating the floor or sides. The contract will be for a period of approximately 12 months, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. Some key points to consider are: • The bidder must provide a fully operational and working system, including all parts and labor. • The bidder must warrant the equipment and installation for a period of not less than one year for defects in components and parts. • The County may accept industry standard equivalents, but any deviations must be presented as a Request for Approved Equal (RAP) and fully explained in writing. • The bidder must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, insurance, and taxation.
