Description
The Brandywine School District is seeking a qualified contractor to fully replace the roof of Lombardy Elementary School. The scope includes complete demolition of the existing roof, installation of tapered and flat poly‑isocyanurate insulation, a fully adhered 60 mil EPDM single‑ply membrane, new sheet‑metal flashings, roof curbs, drainage upgrades, skylight replacement or removal, manufactured expansion joints, and a lightning‑protection system. The project will be executed as a sealed‑bid competitive procurement with a mandatory pre‑bid meeting and a 10 % bid security. All work must comply with prevailing‑wage requirements, a 75 % construction‑waste diversion goal, and warranty obligations (2‑year installer warranty, 25‑year manufacturer warranty).
