2025 DIXON BULK SODIUM PERMANGANATE TANK PLUMBING PROJECT

The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority is seeking proposals for the completion of the plumbing of the bulk sodium permanganate tank at the Dixon Water Treatment Plant. The successful proposer will be required to furnish all permits, materials, equipment, and labor necessary to perform all tasks described in the Scope of Work. The project includes plumbing the bulk sodium permanganate tank with a fill line, recirculation line, dilution line, transfer line, providing and installing a transfer pump and recirculation pump, providing and installing level and concentration devices, and electrical work associated with the provided equipment. The work will be performed at the Dixon Water Treatment Plant, and the project must be completed within 60 calendar days from receiving the notice to proceed. • The project requires the installation of a 2” Stainless Steel fill line, a transfer pump, a recirculation pump, level and concentration measuring devices, and electrical work. • The contractor must attend a mandatory pre-proposal site visit and provide all necessary permits, materials, equipment, and labor. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations. • The contractor must possess a valid NC General Contractors license and provide a copy of the license with the bid. • The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and for the transportation and shipping of materials and equipment.
