Description
The City of Presque Isle is seeking a qualified contractor to supply and apply pavement markings for approximately 330,000 lineal feet of municipal roadways. The work must meet MUTCD and Maine DOT specifications, include two uniform paint coats of at least 10 mil thickness, and be completed by two milestone dates (main‑street markings by May 23 2026 and all remaining markings by June 27 2026). The contractor must also provide all required traffic‑control devices, conduct a test strip for paint thickness, and submit detailed documentation that becomes City property. Payment is on a measured‑work basis at the unit rates submitted; late‑performance penalties of $100 per day may be assessed.
