F-35 JPO PRESOLICITATION NOTICE TO SOLE SOURCE: MCK

The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LM Aero) for a Mission Planning Environment (MPE) Country Kit (MCK). The MCK will be a centrally managed mission planning system that absorbs and replaces the F-35 Partners' individual mission planning systems. The contractor will be responsible for system design and software development, architecture and hardware engineering, cybersecurity and networking interoperability, technical program management, and training development and integration. • The MCK will consist of baseline sets of containerized software and hardware, including servers, workstations, and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) National Security Agency (NSA) approved High Assurance In-line Network Encryptors (INEs). • The contractor must have a Secret security clearance to be eligible for award. • The F-35 JPO will consider all capability statements received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this pre-solicitation notice.
