Description
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking bids for the replacement of the roofing and metal siding on the Apparatus Bay building at the Bieber Station #5. The project includes removing the existing metal roofing and siding, and installing new metal roofing and siding. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to complete the project. The project must be completed in accordance with the 2022 California Building Code and other applicable regulations.
• The project requires a mandatory pre-bid walk-through on December 18, 2025.
• The contractor must have a valid B-General Building Contractor or C39-Roofing Contractor license issued by the California State Licensing Board.
• The contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The project has a DVBE goal and encourages participation from small businesses and microbusinesses.
• The contractor must comply with the California Civil Rights Laws and the Darfur Contracting Act.
