The San Gabriel Unified School District is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the HVAC system at Gabrielino High School. The Owner will supply Carrier rooftop units, while the Contractor must provide and install all other equipment, perform crane‑based hoisting, replace a mechanical curb, install ductwork with specified liner, and integrate the new equipment with the existing Building Automation System (BAS). Mandatory attendance at a pre‑bid jobwalk is required, and the Contractor must coordinate virtual startup assistance with Pelican Wireless. • Provide and install HVAC equipment not supplied by Owner, including RayPak boilers and mechanical curb. • Perform crane operations and obtain required traffic‑control permits; equipment must be hoisted from ground level (no rolling on roof or helicopter lifts). • Integrate new units with the District’s existing BAS (BACnet/Modbus/etc.) and coordinate startup assistance with Pelican Wireless. • Submit required pre‑qualification packet and attend mandatory jobwalk; coordinate roof repair quotes with Tremco as needed.
