Description
This opportunity is an Express Design‑Build procurement for the replacement of Bridge No. 800239 on State Road 1325 (Nanneytown Road) in Rutherford County, NC. The Design‑Build Team will be responsible for full bridge design, geotechnical analysis, hydraulic and storm‑drainage design, traffic‑control plans, erosion‑control measures, utility coordination, and construction of the bridge superstructure and associated site work. The Department will supply survey data, geotechnical borings, pavement design, and preliminary hydraulic reports, while the contractor may submit unit‑price or lump‑sum bids and will be required to adjust pricing if bridge dimensions differ from estimates. No technical proposal is required; contract terms, schedule, and liquidated‑damage provisions will be included in the final RFP.
• Full‑service bridge design and construction (≈ 100 ft span).
