25-67 Access Stairway Oriental-Boardwalk

The City of Atlantic City is seeking bids for the construction of an access stairway at Oriental Avenue and Boardwalk. The project includes the installation of timber foundation pilings, pressure-treated lumber stairway stringers and treads, connecting hardware, and railings. The contractor will be responsible for clearing the existing work area, removing and disposing of earth and debris, and constructing the access stairway complete. The project must be completed within 90 calendar days of commencement. • The contractor must provide a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid, but not exceeding $20,000. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations. • The contractor must maintain insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, umbrella liability, and contractor's pollution liability. • The contractor must provide a performance bond and labor and material payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the final contract price.
