Abatements Trash and Refuse Removal

The City of Greeley is seeking a contractor to provide trash and refuse removal services for properties in violation of City ordinances. The contractor will be responsible for removing and lawfully disposing of household garbage, bulky items, furniture, appliances, tires, scrap materials, yard debris, and other accumulated refuse. The contractor must have the necessary equipment and personnel to complete the work within 48 hours of notification, unless otherwise directed. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for four consecutive one-year periods. • The contractor must have experience in trash and refuse removal services. • The contractor must have the necessary equipment, including vehicles of sufficient size to load and haul debris, and loaders to handle large or heavy materials. • The contractor must have a plan in place for emergency abatements, including the ability to respond on an expedited, same-day basis. • The contractor must have a plan in place for documenting and photographing the work, including before and after photos of each refuse abatement. • The contractor must have a plan in place for communicating with the City and property owners, including providing job-level billing and invoicing.
