The United States Coast Guard is seeking to procure brand‑name, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) rudder seal assemblies and associated service kits (designated “A” and “B”) for its 154‑foot Fast Response Cutters. The items are critical components of the vessel steering system, preventing seawater ingress at the rudder stock penetrations. Because DMS, Inc. holds exclusive design, tooling, and intellectual‑property rights, the Coast Guard is conducting a non‑competitive, sole‑source award to DMS, Inc.
