Sports Court Resurfacing (Bid Discount)

The City of Tampa is seeking qualified vendors to provide sports court resurfacing services for its Parks & Recreation Department. The city maintains over 200 athletic courts, including basketball, tennis, pickleball, and racquetball facilities. Vendors should have experience in municipal or large-scale recreational court resurfacing projects and be able to evaluate existing court conditions, prepare surfaces, and apply resurfacing systems. The contract will be for a one-year period with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. Some key requirements include: • Applying a coat of acrylic resurfacer fortified with silica sand to provide a leveling and filler coat • Applying two texture/color coats of multi-purpose acrylic fortified with silica sand over the entire court surface • Accurately locating, marking, and painting 2” wide playing lines using acrylic paint fortified with silica sand • Installing new net posts if existing posts are mutually agreed to require replacement The city is looking for vendors who can provide high-quality services and meet the requirements outlined in the bid document.
