The Ovid-Elsie Area Schools are seeking bids for the HS Kitchen Improvements project. The project involves building construction, renovation, and demolition, including general construction, mechanical, and electrical work for the replacement of various pieces of kitchen equipment. The project is located at Ovid-Elsie High School, 8989 E. Colony Rd, Elsie, MI 48831. The anticipated start of construction is June 5, 2026, and substantial completion is expected by August 7, 2026. Bidders are required to examine the project site before submitting a bid and must submit a sworn statement disclosing any familial relationship with the owner or employees of the bidder and the Board of Education of the School District.
• The project requires prevailing wages.
• The bid security deposit will be returned after delivery of the required Performance and Payment Bond(s) by the accepted bidder.
• The bid form must be signed by the bidder and accompanied by a security deposit of 5% of the bid amount.
• The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
