Description
The City of Phoenix is soliciting a qualified general contractor to construct a new two‑story Fire Station No. 7 on a 1.6‑acre site at 8907 N. 3rd Street. The facility will be approximately 18,000 gross square feet, include four apparatus bays, at least 16 dormitory rooms, a generator, fuel island, kitchen, dining, day room, restrooms, exercise space, and associated site work (parking, hardscape, landscaping, irrigation, security lighting). The project is funded by the 2023 General Obligation Bond program with an estimated construction cost of $12 million and a Small Business Enterprise goal of 13 %. Bids must be submitted by 2:00 pm on October 13, 2026. A pre‑bid meeting (recommended) will be held on September 29, 2026.
