Description
The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids for the construction of a salt brine mixing facility at the Tunnel Hill HQ. The facility will be used for mixing and storage of salt brine, and the contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, supplies, and transportation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified responsible bidder meeting the required specifications. The project has a substantial completion deadline of 6/13/2026 and a final completion deadline of 6/30/2026. Key requirements include:
* The contractor must have a valid contractor's license.
* The contractor must have experience with at least five projects similar to this one.
* The contractor must provide a payment allocation schedule and allocate the entire contract sum to payment milestones.
* The contractor will be paid in the form of periodic progress payments, and the Owner reserves the right to withhold liquidated damages from progress payments.
* The contractor must comply with the State's security protocol and procedures.
