RESIZING SSBJ CABLE FOR DRY TRANSFORMERS

The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City requires a professional contractor to increase the size of the Supply Side Bonding Jumper (SSBJ) at the secondary side of the LV Dry Transformers of the Mexico City NEC electrical system. The work involves replacing the existing SSBJ cables with new ones, performing insulation and torque tests, and delivering reports to the Embassy. The contractor must have the necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources to perform the work and meet all local insurance requirements. • The contractor will work on dry transformers of various sizes, including 15, 45, 75, 112.5, and 150 kVA. • The contractor must understand written and spoken English and have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing. • The contractor must have all licenses and permits required by local law and meet all local insurance requirements. • The contractor must have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to post adequate performance security. • The contractor must have good experience and past performance records and identify specialized experience and technical competence required to complete the construction work.
