The State of Vermont is seeking a qualified vendor to design, manufacture, and deliver a single NWCG Type 6 wildland fire engine built on a Ford F550 chassis with a Waterax BB‑4 auxiliary pump. The contract includes mandatory inspections by the Department of Forest Parks & Recreation, a minimum one‑year commercial‑use warranty, and delivery no later than April 1 2027 (avoiding the winter blackout period). Payments are milestone‑based, and the base contract term is two years with up to three one‑year extensions.
