Description
The Town of Johnson, Vermont is seeking a professional General Contractor to perform and manage all aspects of the creation of 3 acres of floodplain restoration at Holmes Meadow. The project involves installation of construction signs, erosion and sediment controls, site access, staking out of project features, clearing of vegetation, excavation and haul of earthen fill, site grading, building of park amenities, landscaping with native species, and site restoration. The contractor will be required to comply with directives from the Project Engineer and adhere to the Terms and Conditions in the Contract.
• The project requires a pre-bid site walkthrough on November 10, 2025.
• Questions about the bid will be accepted until November 12, 2025.
• Bids shall be presented on the enclosed bid sheet in person or by email.
• The best construction firm for the project will be selected based on cost and qualifications.
• The town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities on its own motion.
