Description
The Recreation and Parks Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge (BREC) is auctioning approximately 2.014 acres of land at the southeast corner of Blueberry Street and North Ardenwood Drive in Baton Rouge. The parcel (Lots 34‑A, 35, 1 and 2, Block 7, Smiley Heights, Ward 1‑3) is being sold by sealed bid for a minimum price of $125,000. Bids may be submitted electronically via BidExpress or on paper to the BREC Finance Department no later than 2:00 PM CT on 20 Oct 2026. Bidders may attend the public opening of bids. Successful bidders must enter into a binding purchase agreement within 45 days of the bid opening. The land is zoned C‑2 (Heavy Commercial) and A‑3.1 (Single‑Family Residential) and is currently not needed for public recreation.
