Citywide Traffic Signal Backplate Improvement Project

The City of Chino Hills is seeking bids for the Citywide Traffic Signal Backplate Improvement Project. The work comprises mobilization, traffic control, removal and replacement of traffic signal backplates with a new backplate and a reflective border, and refresh traffic signal heads at various intersections listed throughout the City of Chino Hills. The contractor must possess a valid Class A Contractor's license or Class C-10 at the time of submitting bids and meet the minimum acceptable experience. * The project requires a 10% bid bond, 100% performance bond, and 100% payment bond. * The contractor must pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established by the City Council. * The engineer's estimate for the project is $420,000, and the working days are 80. * A pre-bid meeting is not scheduled. * Technical questions regarding the project should be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. * Complete sets of contract documents may be purchased beginning Monday, November 24, 2025, upon payment of twenty dollars ($20.00) per digital set.
