Historic Courthouse Renovation

The Queen Anne's County Government is seeking a general contractor for the complete renovation of the Historic Courthouse in Centreville, Maryland. The project involves the renovation of a 17,800 square foot building, including the abatement of asbestos floor tile and interior lead paint, demolition of existing electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, and the installation of new systems, including a sprinkler system and telecom, security, audio visual, and public safety DAS systems. The project also includes structural improvements, such as underpinning of existing foundations and the addition of a new masonry elevator shaft. The contractor will be responsible for verifying all conditions in the field and immediately notifying the architect/engineer of any conditions not as assumed.
