Description
The FAA’s Airport Improvement Program is offering up to $100 million in FY 2027 funding for the FAA Contract Tower (FCT) Competitive Grant Program. Eligible airport sponsors (public agencies, private entities, tribal governments, and certain U.S. territories) may apply for grants to sustain, construct, repair, modernize, replace, relocate, or remotely operate airport traffic control towers and associated air‑traffic‑control equipment. Funding ranges from $25 k to $55 million per award, with cost‑sharing not required. Applications are accepted from 24 Sept 2026 through 19 Oct 2026. Successful applicants will receive a grant to support tower infrastructure projects that address aging facilities and improve safety and efficiency at NPIAS airports.
