USCGC STONE LUFFING CYLINDER PART REPLACEMENTS

The United States Coast Guard is issuing a Notice of Intent to inform industry contractors of the Government's intent to Award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price Contract for the procurement of luffing cylinder parts for the USCGC STONE. The intended contractor is Appleton Marine Inc. The scope of work includes the replacement of luffing cylinder parts, and the vendor must provide the required parts to the CGC Stone in Base Charleston. The parts must be shipped as a complete order with standard commercial packaging to prevent damage during transit. • The required parts include an actuating hydraulic cylinder assembly, luff and jib cylinder pins, lock plates, and hex head cap screws. • The parts must be shipped to CGC Stone in Base Charleston. • The vendor must provide the parts with standard commercial packaging to prevent damage during transit. • The required delivery date is December 4, 2026.
