The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking quotations for an indefinite‑delivery‑indefinite‑quantity (IDIQ) contract to overhaul wheels, brake assemblies, and related components for its HC‑144 and HC‑27J aircraft fleet. The contract will be a firm‑fixed‑price, multi‑year award (base year plus four one‑year options) with a total ceiling of approximately $6.9 million. The award will be made to the OEM, Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems, but other OEM‑authorized sources may be considered if they submit responsive offers. The work includes disassembly, inspection, repair/reconditioning, re‑assembly, testing, certification, and delivery of fully traceable, FAA‑approved parts.
• Scope covers overhaul of six specific part numbers (main wheel, nose wheel, main brake for HC‑27J; wheel MLG, wheel NLG, main brake for HC‑144).
• Contractor must provide all labor, materials, tooling, testing, documentation (FAA Form 8130‑3 or Certificate of Conformance), and comply with strict quality‑system (ISO 9000 or equivalent) and packaging standards.
• Minimum guaranteed order: 1 unit each of CLIN 1 and CLIN 4; quantities vary annually with a maximum ceiling determined at award.
