Description
The City of Fontana is seeking a qualified fencing contractor to remove approximately 2,500 linear feet of existing wrought‑iron perimeter fencing and gates at the Ralph M. Lewis Sports Complex and replace them with new 3‑rail ornamental steel fencing. The work includes demolition, disposal of all debris, back‑filling footings, and installing new 6‑ft‑high steel fence panels (no new gates). All labor, equipment, and materials are required, and the contractor must hold a California C‑13 fencing license, maintain required bonds and insurance, and comply with prevailing‑wage, safety, and environmental regulations. The contract period is 45 working days, with a $500 per day liquidated‑damage clause for delays.
