LOCUM TENENS PSYCHIATRY SERVICES

The County of Riverside Purchasing Department is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to provide locum tenens psychiatry services to the Riverside University Health System - Behavioral Health. The selected vendors will provide temporary placements for psychiatrists at inpatient and/or outpatient behavioral health facilities throughout the County of Riverside. The services will be reserved for special circumstances, such as child, institutional, or specialized psychiatrists who may be in short supply or high demand. The contract includes the following key points: • The County requires the services of psychiatrist recruitment/search agencies to provide temporary placements for County-operated Behavioral Health programs. • The County also requires the services of contracted psychiatrists to cover absences or shortages of personnel at any County-operated Behavioral Health program site. • The contract is pending approval by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors. • The County appreciates the interest of all perspective bidders and encourages them to visit the County’s website for future bidding opportunities.
