Description
This contract calls for the complete demolition and site remediation of a structure located at 7131 2nd Street, Mobile, AL. The contractor must perform wet demolition, cap and disconnect utility lines, remove all debris (including tires, trees ≤ 8 in., and other material), fill voids, install and maintain erosion‑control BMPs, handle lead‑based paint and asbestos disposal, and provide extensive documentation (photos, waste‑shipment records, final affidavits). The work must be completed within 15 calendar days after receipt of a written Notice to Proceed, and a final newspaper notice of completion must be published within five working days thereafter. Late completion incurs $250 per day liquidated‑damage. The city retains the right to award the contract to the lowest responsive bidder; the awarded vendor is Nu Vision Construction, Inc.
