Description
The contract is for improvements to the Early Education Center (EEC) Parking & ADA Access at Laramie County Community College. The work includes reconstruction of existing sidewalks, new sidewalks, reconstructed landscaped areas, and demolition and reconstruction of a small parking lot. The project also includes new pedestrian sidewalks with ADA accessible routes, exterior stair sections, and demolition and reconstruction of an existing asphalt paved drive and parking area with ADA parking stalls. The contract was posted on March 23, 2023, and the bid submission date was April 20, 2023. Unfortunately, all responses were rejected and the bid was failed.
• The project includes several bid alternatives related to drainage improvements and pavement rehabilitation on an adjoining asphalt paved area.
• A mandatory pre-bid meeting and job walk were held on April 6, 2023.
• The contract documents include plans, specifications, and exhibits such as prevailing wage rates, insurance requirements, and a CSI division assignment schedule.
