Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking qualified contractors to repair and repaint aluminum handrails along the Riverwalk South corridor (Nun Street to Dock Street). The work includes removal of deteriorated handrail sections, installation of new aluminum plates to secure the railings to existing wooden posts, and a shop‑applied protective coating system for all handrail components. Bids must be submitted sealed by August 15, 2024, and the contract will be awarded through full and open competition. A minimum 14 % subcontracting effort to minority‑ or disadvantaged‑owned businesses is required.
