Contracted Noxious Weed Spraying - Golden Valley County Lewistown Area

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is requesting bids for the Contracted Noxious Weed Spraying - Golden Valley County Lewistown Area. The contract includes the spraying of noxious weeds in the Golden Valley County Lewistown Area. The contractor must have a valid MT Pesticide Applicators license and be certified to apply restricted-use herbicides. The contract also includes the use of various chemicals, such as 2-4-D, Dicamba, and Escort. The contractor must provide their own equipment and personnel to perform the work. • The contract is for the maintenance of publicly owned buildings and facilities, including grounds maintenance and the operation of public drinking water supply, waste collection, and waste disposal systems. • The contractor must comply with the State of Montana contract Standard Terms and Conditions and the Prevailing Wage Law. • The contractor must also comply with the Insurance requirements and the Worker's Compensation Act requirement. • The contract includes a provision for the adjustment of the standard prevailing rate of wages to be paid to the workers performing the contract. • The contractor must provide a bid tab sheet and a notice of intent to award. • The contract is subject to the terms and conditions of the State of Montana contract.
