Description
This contract is a nuisance‑abatement demolition project for the City of Mobile at 423 Mohawk Street. The awardee, AA&A Demolition, is required to perform wet demolition of all existing structures, cap and disconnect utilities, clear and dispose of debris, and implement erosion‑and‑sediment‑control measures. The scope also mandates handling of lead‑based paint and asbestos, post‑demolition site stabilization through seeding, and publication of a final‑completion notice. The contract is a stipulated‑sum (lump‑sum) agreement with a 15‑day performance window after issuance of a Notice to Proceed, and includes liquidated‑damages provisions for delays.
• Wet demolition of all structures, including footings and slabs.
• Utility disconnection/capping (sewer, water, gas) and full site clearance.
• Required BMPs for erosion control, hazardous‑material disposal, and post‑demolition seeding.
