This solicitation seeks a qualified CPA firm to conduct both a comprehensive financial audit and a limited‑scope single audit for Morgan County, Colorado, covering FY 2025 and the subsequent four fiscal years, as well as the schedule of expenditures of federal awards. The work must comply with GAAS, GAO Government Auditing Standards, the Single Audit Act, and OMB Circular A‑133, and includes the preparation of multiple audit reports, management letters, and internal‑control assessments. The County also requires assistance with maintaining its GFOA Certificate of Achievement and expects the auditor to present findings to the Board of County Commissioners and support successor auditors.
